Ranging from pale and dark green to green with splashes of red running through the surface, this gemstone is one of the most loved stones in the crystal world. Bloodstone is one of the most powerful healing crystals we have come across during our crystal discovery journey and is first and foremost known as a protective stone because it not only helps to draw out negativity from within but also from the surrounding environment. It can also help with courage and creativity, and in Ancient times this was one of the most commonly used talismans by warriors. They believed a Bloodstone would protect them and stop the bleeding from the wounds they sustained, and to this day it is still believed to help cleanse the blood. Keeping one close to you in the palm of your hands or a close by pocket is believed to help you with the benefits this crystal has to offer. Each stone is different in both colour and shape thanks to the fact it is a natural mineral, but you should expect your Bloodstone to measure around 3.5cm in size. It will be delivered in our gemstone emporium pouch which is great for keeping your gemstones inside when you take them out and about.

Delivery
Please allow approximately 5 working days for dispatch to UK addresses unless stated otherwise on the product. For delivery outside the UK please allow longer for delivery or contact us for estimated delivery times as each country differs. Delivery can also be longer during busy times such as Christmas. It is possible to send some items via faster delivery methods for UK delivery such as same day or next day dispatch for an additional fee. Please do get in touch with team Alyssa for delivery options. For orders delivered outside the UK, the VAT has been removed from the price you pay to House of Alyssa but will be collected at customs instead.
Jewellery
Our beautiful jewellery will be delivered in our branded packaging which is either a box for most of our larger jewellery pieces or a pouch for most of our charms and small items. Ladies items will also come with a sprinkle of biodegradable confetti. Please let us know at the checkout if you would like the sparkles left out of your order. For small items such as individual chains and earring backs will have a small pouch envelope inside tissue paper to keep needless packaging and waste to a minimum. We never use excess packaging- just enough to keep your items safe and sound in transit.
Lifestyle and gifts
Sustainability is at the heart of our concerns with our gift items thoughtfully designed and packaged, using only the necessary packaging to avoid excess waste and needless recycling. If you receive white foamy peanuts inside your order, these are fully biodegradable and can be run under a tap to dissolve, or popped on the compost heap. We apologise but due to costly delivery charges some of our items are only available for delivery within the UK.
