Our candles are made from a secret blend of wax, mixed with a little bit of fully refined paraffin wax and contain no soy allergens, no palm oil and are vegan friendly and cruelty free. Our candles are absolutely not tested on animals and are made with the highest quality ingredients right here in Hertfordshire, England. The wax we use for our gorgeous candles is the cleanest burning wax available and omits no black smoke when the candle burns. Legal Disclaimer- Please follow all safety instructions on the product label and retain for future reference. Please keep in an open space and away from flammable items. Fire safety must be observed when handling candles and never leave a burning candle unattended. In the event the substance comes into contact with skin, rinse immediately with cold water. Delivery
Please allow approximately 5 working days for dispatch to UK addresses unless stated otherwise on the product. For delivery outside the UK please allow longer for delivery or contact us for estimated delivery times as each country differs. Delivery can also be longer during busy times such as Christmas. It is possible to send some items via faster delivery methods for UK delivery such as same day or next day dispatch for an additional fee. For orders delivered outside the UK, the VAT has been removed from the price you pay to House of Alyssa but will be collected at customs instead.
Jewellery
Our beautiful jewellery will be delivered in our branded packaging which is either a box for most of our larger jewellery pieces or a pouch for most of our charms and small items. Ladies items will also come with a sprinkle of biodegradable confetti. Please let us know at the checkout if you would like the sparkles left out of your order. For small items such as individual chains and earring backs will have a small pouch envelope inside tissue paper to keep needless packaging and waste to a minimum. We never use excess packaging- just enough to keep your items safe and sound in transit.

If you receive white foamy peanuts inside your order, these are fully biodegradable and can be run under a tap to dissolve, or popped on the compost heap.
