The first of its kind, Alyssa spend over 2 years during the covid lockdowns experimenting and perfecting this wonderful musical ball which has been cleverly made entirely in sterling silver. The ball measures around 2.5cm in diameter and has been etched with our very own Sakura cherry blossom sketches all around the design. Our very first musical ball, Alyssa was inspired by a musical silver apple necklace she had as a young child to create this wonderful jewellery with music! The tinkling ball is inspired by the cherry blossoms swaying and tinkling away on the trees in Springtime- and if cherry blossoms could sing and be heard, this is the kind of noise we would expect them to make! The most beautiful, ethereal design- designed to add music and calm to your day whenever you need it. Simply give your necklace a tinkle whenever you want to feel the calm and relaxing vibes it oozes, but if you’re lucky you will hear it tinkling away when you wear it sometimes too! This necklace is also perfect for expecting and new mother’s, as because we have paired this piece with a long chain, the ball sits low down and can be heard by baby in the womb, or help send baby to sleep after a feed. But it is not just mums this piece is perfect for! We love to push the boundaries on what jewellery can be, and after our moving, and patented spinning pieces we wanted to incorporate relaxing music and a real treat for the senses into our collections, and this really is the perfect piece. Once you have picked your ideal chain type (either a cord you can tie to your desired length or a long robust sterling silver chain) we will beautifully box your handmade masterpiece up and send it on its way to you to cherish forever. We use various forms of packaging at House of Alyssa Smith which can differ for each item/collection we sell to suit the needs of the collection, license agreement and for safety during transit. Delivery
Please allow approximately 5 working days for dispatch to UK addresses unless stated otherwise on the product. For delivery outside the UK please allow longer for delivery or contact us for estimated delivery times as each country differs. Delivery can also be longer during busy times such as Christmas. It is possible to send some items via faster delivery methods for UK delivery such as same day or next day dispatch for an additional fee. Please do get in touch with team Alyssa for delivery options. For orders delivered outside the UK, the VAT has been removed from the price you pay to House of Alyssa but will be collected at customs instead.
Jewellery
Our beautiful jewellery will be delivered in our branded packaging which is either a box for most of our larger jewellery pieces or a pouch for most of our charms and small items. Ladies items will also come with a sprinkle of biodegradable confetti. Please let us know at the checkout if you would like the sparkles left out of your order. For small items such as individual chains and earring backs will have a small pouch envelope inside tissue paper to keep needless packaging and waste to a minimum. We never use excess packaging- just enough to keep your items safe and sound in transit.
Lifestyle and gifts
Sustainability is at the heart of our concerns with our gift items thoughtfully designed and packaged, using only the necessary packaging to avoid excess waste and needless recycling. If you receive white foamy peanuts inside your order, these are fully biodegradable and can be run under a tap to dissolve, or popped on the compost heap. We apologise but due to costly delivery charges some of our items are only available for delivery within the UK.
