This very special necklace allows you to keep loved ones close by. To fill, unscrew the top and using a small funnel or a folded piece of paper, gently pour the ashes into the compartment bottle. We advise you do this this over a large piece of paper to catch any spills. Once the vessle is filled, check that no ashes are stuck to the threads where the screw top will go, as this may stop it screwing closed properly. Gently screw the lid closed and your piece is ready to wear.

This beautiful wearable urn has been designed especially to keep precious ashes inside, and close to your heart. We have used a thick sterling silver open link chain on this piece which takes the weight of the urn when filled, and it comes on a longer 20 inch length as standard, but you are able to order a longer chain if desired. Part of our special Remembrance collection, the urn is made in a durable and hard wearing stainless steel to allow us to sell this piece at a very reasonable price, whilst we have used a sterling silver chain to hang it on. You can add engraving on the reverse side of this special star, of initials or a name up to a certain amount of characters. Delivery
Please allow approximately 5 working days for dispatch to UK addresses unless stated otherwise on the product. For delivery outside the UK please allow longer for delivery or contact us for estimated delivery times as each country differs. Delivery can also be longer during busy times such as Christmas. It is possible to send some items via faster delivery methods for UK delivery such as same day or next day dispatch for an additional fee. For orders delivered outside the UK, the VAT has been removed from the price you pay to House of Alyssa but will be collected at customs instead.
Jewellery
Our beautiful jewellery will be delivered in our branded packaging which is either a box for most of our larger jewellery pieces or a pouch for most of our charms and small items. Ladies items will also come with a sprinkle of biodegradable confetti. Please let us know at the checkout if you would like the sparkles left out of your order. For small items such as individual chains and earring backs will have a small pouch envelope inside tissue paper to keep needless packaging and waste to a minimum. We never use excess packaging- just enough to keep your items safe and sound in transit.

If you receive white foamy peanuts inside your order, these are fully biodegradable and can be run under a tap to dissolve, or popped on the compost heap.
